Session "An Introduction to Creative and Personal Development" (29th November)

Sophia Le Rendu is one of the members of our community, she's also an experienced professional coach and offers this free workshop to all AuNZ.Cat members

An Introduction to Creative and Personal Development

Course Director: Sophia Le Rendu MA
Location: C/Pau Clarís 106
Date: Friday 29 November, 2013
Time: 18.00 - 20.30 : Please Be Punctual

You are invited to participate in an introduction to the practical work of personal development learning new ways to create the future you want to live.

It is for people who are in transition and realise that old ways of thinking and doing things are no longer working. They are looking for a new beginning, how to use what they already have and how to develop their inner resources.

What happens in the workshop?
We look at how we can use language to reprogram how we think and therefore the reality we live in. We learn how to practice simple bodywork techniques to remove barriers to our progress and to restore healthy order and vitality to our whole being. These techniques are immediately effective after the interactive workshop and can then be used at anytime.

This is an introduction workshop to the community connected with AuNZCat. It is a taster session to assess the possibilities of developing a program of personal and professional development. There is no cost for this first session. The only requirement is that you show up 100% and open to participate in something new and creative.

The workshop is based in English and Spanish or Catalan can be used to help people understand more fully. A good intermediate - upper intermediate level of English is necessary.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to register for the course. Places are limited, so book early. It is also possible that you want to bring a friend. Please enquire by mobile.

Catalan Castle in Queensland (Paronella Park)...

One of the touristic attractions of the state of Queenland, Australia is Paronella Park, built by a Catalan called Josep Paronella. He was born in Alt Emporda in 1887 and migrated to Australia one century ago, when he was 26 years old.

Barcelona street named after Kiwi mountaineer

The so-called Camí del Cel (Sky walk) is an access to the top of Tibidabo. Barcelona city council has decided to name one of its parts after the names of the New Zealander sir Edmund Hillary and the Nepalese Sherpa Tenzing Norgay. They became the first climbers confirmed as having reached the summit of Mount Everest in 1953.

The Tibidabo mountain is the highest place in Barcelona (508 metres), the best location to have a street named after Hillary and Tenzing Norgay.
