Project "Barcelona Added Values" ... maybe a nice gift for your family... or for yourself...

YOUR life in Barcelona... in pictures...

Anna Baeza is a photojournalist from Barcelona who approached The Australian New Zealander Catalan Society for an interesting project.

She's trying to contact some Australians and New Zealanders living in Barcelona, people who have settled here for some time. Anna will follow them, picture them, interview them and will produce a magnificent and professional product for sure.

Those collaborating with her will have a copy of the project (for yourself or maybe an special gift for your family!!!).

If you are interested email us or comment this post and Anna will contact you.

Interested in touch rugby?

Do you play touch rugby around Barcelona? Would you want to play it?
Some locals teams struggle for numbers most weeks...
Let us know if you're interested.

Cheers,

The Melbourne Cup 2010... on line

Watching the "race that stops a nation" was the new excuse to meet up and have a drink, that's why we suggested to organize an event. As some of you told us maybe Tuesday 2nd Oct is not the best night for going out, especially after a long week-end.

We provide a link  where the whole carnival is available to watch on line:

Enjoy!

Did you come on Sat Oct 2nd to enjoy The Grand Final? (AFL GF again!)

Were you one of those lucky people who enjoyed the AFL GF with us?
Drop a comment!

Excuse for the quality of the pictures. Feel free to give me a new mobile phone!.

Get Started with BCN: Local news in English

We recommend you a Catalonia-based newspaper called Catalonia Today. It provides news in English from a Catalan point of view. You can buy it at your local newsagency's or read i on line (www.cataloniatoday.cat)

You can also find a free newspaper called Barcelona Metropolitan (www.barcelona-metropolitan.com). Some of our members get it monthly at The Philharmonic (Carrer Mallorca 204).
